Opening and Welcome Remarks
As the conference chair, Prof. George Shan welcoming attendees and highlighting the importance of the conference in advancing knowledge and research in accounting, auditing, and finance. Welcome Remarks by Prof. Lee Smales, as the Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance at UWA Business School, have extended a warm welcome to all participants. And Prof. Jac Birt: Prof. Jac Birt, as the Deputy Dean of the UWA Business School, provided additional insights into the conference's significance and the school's dedication to promoting scholarly exchange and collaboration in accounting and finance.
Keynote Speakers
One of the highlights of ICBMG 2023 was the presence of two distinguished keynote speakers: Professor Gary Monroe from The University of New South Wales, Australia, and Professor Lei Xu from the University of South Australia, Australia. Their expertise and wisdom undoubtedly enriched the conference proceedings, offering valuable perspectives on contemporary issues in the field.
